If the Library doesn’t have the item you need, Document Delivery Services (DDS) can, in most cases, get the item for you from another library (if you are an NAU or CCC affiliate only). If you are a distance learner, the library can send materials to you through DDS.
TIP: one of the best ways to request items is through NAU’s Quick Search bar. Simply search for the item you would like to borrow. If you can’t find it in our collection, you’ll see an option to “expand your search” to include items outside of our library.

If there is an option to get it from other libraries, choose one of the available options. Depending on the item, choose the appropriate offer and send your request. You may be able to request a physical copy or a digital copy. If it’s a book, you may be able to request that a single chapter be sent digitally.

Once you’ve made a request, you may view the status of your requests from the catalog. Please click on “Sign in” in the upper right corner of the catalog to sign into your library account.

You may then view your library account by clicking on your name.

And you may view the status of your requests on the Requests tab.
